Sarah Lucille Parmer

Sarah Lucille Davis Parmer, 82, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, August 08, 2018 at Jack Huston Memorial Hospital.  A funeral service will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 3738 Highway 431 North Phenix City, Alabama 36867  With the Reverend Tommy Poole officiating. The interment will be private at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Sunday, August 12, 2018 6:00-8:00 P.M. EST at the funeral home.  

Sarah Lucille Davis Parmer was born July 15, 1936 in Macon County, Alabama to the late Julian and Lana Lucille Yarbrough Davis.  Mrs. Parmer  was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. And worked as a Telephone Operator for Southern Bell. Mrs. Parmer was also a proud member of the Communications Workers of America Local 3212 and The Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Parmer also dedicated her time to helping people through her work at The Valley Rescue Mission and Damascus Way. Mrs. Parmer was a loving and compassionate person who always wanted to help people. She was a loving wife, Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend she will be forever be missed.

Other than his parents, Mrs. Parmer is predeceased by her husband of forty-seven and half years Elton Kermit Parmer and Brothers George Davis, Julian Davis Jr., Irving Davis and Scott Davis.

Survivors include  Daughter Lisa Diane Davis and husband Jeff of Phenix City, Alabama, son William Keith Parmer of Roswell, Georgia, Brother Bill Davis of Roseville, California, grandchildren Brian Parmer, Reece Parmer, Matthew Davis, Briana Davis and one great grandson Braxton Reece Parmer.
