Sarah Swanson

Sarah Swanson, 70, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm EST Monday, July 30, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Bob Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Vance Memorial Chapel on Monday.

Mrs. Swanson was born August 19, 1947 in Columbus, GA to the late James Houston Bradley and Tryphenie Newdena Jackson Bradley. She worked as a heart monitor technician at Piedmont Medical for many years. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Leon Swanson.

She is survived by her children, Arthur DeWayne Swanson, Edward Lamar Swanson and Shelby Jean Swanson Collins; brother, James Andrew Bradley; grandchildren, Travis Ray Collins, Kevin Eugene Collins and Kimberly Rena Collins Crisp; great-grandchildren, Seth, Dylan, Kaylie, Kavin, Chloe, William and Madeline; numerous other loving family members and many caring friends.
