Mr. Hill was born May 23, 1941, in Cochran, GA son of the late Henry Edgar Hill, Jr and Jimmie Louise Reeves Boling. He retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of committed service to our country as an SFC. After his military career, he became a successful entrepreneur.
We will remember him as a patriot who truly believed in God, Country and Family. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. Family was his top priority, and he always made time for children, siblings, grands, cousins, and other relatives. Thank you for the solid foundation you have laid for us to build upon.
Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Hill, Jr. and Jimmie Boling and his grandmother who raised him, Lillian Reeves; one brother, Philip E. Carlisle.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Monson (Paul) San Antonio, TX; brother, Bernard G. Carlisle, Jr. (Teresa): two grandchildren, Johnathon Monson and Anastasia Monson Dombrowski (John); niece, Jennifer Scott (Toney); and his first great-grandchild to arrive in August 2025.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tunnel to Towers, The Wounded Warrior Project, or a veterans charity of your choice.
