Sharon Elizabeth Greenlees, 77, of Cataula, Ga passed away on November 11, 2024. A visitation will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, Al 36867 on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431, Phenix City, Al 36867 at 2:00 pm.
Sharon Greenlees was born on June 22, 1947, to the late Donald and Carolyn DeMann. After graduating from high school, she obtained her associates degree and became a Court Magistrate for the Russell County State Clerk’s Office, retiring after 19 years. Sharon was married to the love of her life, Raymond Lamar Greenlees until his passing in 2005. She loved her family, always looking forward to the next family gathering. She enjoyed a relaxing day caring for her cats and Great Danes as well as watching old TV shows, playing computer games and crocheting. Her family loved to hear her play piano and enjoying one of her home cooked meals she loved to prepare. Any chance she got, she would travel to new places. Sharon will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Sharon Greenlees is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lamar Greenlees; parents, Donald Earl DeMann and Carolyn DeMann; angel-daughter, Danielle, who she lost soon after birth; and brother, Allen Boynton.
Sharon Greenlees is survived by her daughter, Melanie Williams (David) of Cataula, Ga; step-daughter, Melissa Singleton of Phenix City, Al; sons, Jason Greenlees (Gary) of Columbus, Ga, and Matthew Greenlees of Salem, Al; Sisters, Madi DeMann-Hill of Mayodan, NC and Stephanie Johnson of Hope Mills, NC; brother, Ken DeMann of Shreveport, La; grandchildren, Jake Williams of Cataula, Ga, Tucker Williams of Cataula, Ga, Nevaeh Greenlees of Thomaston, Ga, Raymond Greenlees of Thomaston, Ga, Michael Singleton of Phenix City, Al, Felicia Singleton of Phenix City, Al, and Dylan Singleton of Phenix City, Al; and great-grandchildren, Kiazen Walker and a granddaughter on the way.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Columbus Hospice.
