Sheba A. Valentine, 75, of Smiths Station, AL passed away late Saturday night, May 11, 2024, at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

Mrs. Valentine was born July 20, 1948, in Montgomery, AL, daughter of the late William Franklin Wright and Alice Elvery White Wright.   She was employed as a Data Analyst with the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA and retired after many years of loyal service. She served our Country in the Armed Forces and was a United States Navy Veteran.  She enjoyed traveling and reading, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide during football season, and enjoyed spending time with pet dog, Angel.  She was a Christian and a Baptist by faith.

She is survived two daughters, Cindy Webb and husband Chris of Smiths Station, AL, and Teresa Etheredge of Leesburg, GA; three precious grandchildren, Walker William Webb, Rachel Etheredge, and Austin Jason Etheredge; several other extended loving family members, and many caring friends.

A private committal service with Navy Honors will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband GySgt (Ret) James Michael Valentine who passed away in July of 2018.
