Shelia Cotton

Shelia Robinson Cotton, 72, of Opelika, AL passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

A graveside service was held this past Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Cotton was born August 12, 1946 in, Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late Rubin Robinson and Inez Whitaker Robinson. She was the co-owner and office manager for Allstate Packaging and was a member of Air View Baptist Church, where she played the piano for over 40 years. Shelia enjoyed music, family and Auburn University.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Cotton.

She is survived by her daughter, Tami Blackerby and husband Richard of Opelika, AL; sister, Sue Collins and husband Ron of Midland, GA; brother, Mickey Robinson and wife Frankie of Salem, AL; grandson, Zac Blackerby and wife Leah; several extended family and numerous caring friends.
