Sherry Roper Norris

Sherry Roper Norris, 64, of Seale, AL, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in her home. The family will hold a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Norris was born on October 13, 1949, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of John and Ethelaine Roper. She worked at Ft. Benning for many years and taught at Columbus Technical College for several years.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Rumsey.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Norris of Seale, AL; son, John Pinkney, wife Nicole of Smiths Station, AL; 2 brothers, John Roper of Jacksonville, FL and Bob Roper of Smiths Station, AL; grandson Matthew Rumsey; extended family members and many caring friends.
