Sierra Nikole Von Der Heide, 19, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Midland, GA.  A memorial will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Sunday, June 19, 2016 beginning at 4:00 PM EST with Pastor Mike McBride officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. EST until 4:00 P.M. EST.  

Sierra was born June 9, 1997 in Columbus, GA to the parents of Christy Dawn Burks and William Rudolph Von Der Heide.  She was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God in Columbus. She attended Hardaway High School.  She loved writing poems and skateboarding.  She also loved turtles.

Sierra is predeceased by her Grandfather, William J. Allen, Sr.; her Great Grandmother, Evelyn Garrett; and Uncles:  Tommy Stiltz and Tony Stiltz.

Survivors include her Mother, Christy Dawn Burks; her Father, William Rudolph Von Der Heide; Paternal Grandmother, Jean Hurlburt and Maternal Grandmother, Maxine Irene Whatley; two sisters:  Norma Rubi Gomez and Savannah Hope Von Der Heide; one brother, Tyler Von Der Heide; Aunts:  Brianna Mae Edmondson, Tina Mayers, Elizabeth Von Der Heide, Ashley Dawn Allen, Anna Berry, Maria Vargas and Carmen Vargas; Uncles:  Richard Tillach, Timmy Jones, William Joseph Allen, JR., Brian Keith Edmonson and James Ryan Edmonson; Cousins:  Brandon Jones, Katilyn Gomez and Gryphon Gomez.
