Steven Michael Colvin

Steven Michael Colvin, 65, of Phenix City, AL passed away Tuesday, July 02, 2019 at Jack Hughston Hospital in Phenix City, AL.  

A memorial service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City on Wednesday, July 03, 2019 beginning at 4:00 P.M. EST, with Pastor Dewayne Dean officiating.    

Mr. Colvin was born January 28, 1954 in Columbus, GA to the late Doyle Edward Colvin and Effie Mae Howard.  He enjoyed working and installed carpet for over 40 years.  He worked as a carpet salesman at Factory Flooring Outlet.  He also loved wood working and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Other than his parents, Mr. Colvin is predeceased by sister, Cheryl Webb.

Survivors include his life partner, Cheryl Read; a daughter, Sheila Colvin and life partner, Tonya Sweeney; a sister, Brenda Gail Craft; a brother, Greg Colvin, Sr. and wife, Connie; step children:  Charles Read, Jr., Paul Read, Jennifer Read, Laura Mills and Joseph Read; and seven grandchildren.
