Susan Lynn Wallace Mascella, 59, of Phenix City, AL, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2020.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Mascella was born April 14, 1961, in Miami, FL, daughter of the late Marvin Wallace and June Smith Wallace. She was a lady of strong character who loved her family. Susan enjoyed the paranormal and traveling to Roswell and other similar locations to enjoy and learn. She was a Certified Paranormal Investigator and a member of MUFON. Susan passed this passion on to her children who are continuing her legacy of paranormal investigations. While she was taken from us too soon, she has left fond memories that we will cherish in our hearts forever. Thank you for all the good times.
Mrs. Mascella was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Jeanne Wallace Toski and Adrian Wallace-El.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, John Mascella, Jr., Phenix City, AL; four children: Justine Rollyson (Brock), Clarksburg, WV; John Mascella III (Stephanie), Myrtle Beach, SC; Ariel Wonacott (William), Phenix City, AL; and India Mascella, Phenix City, AL (fiancé Lucas Kinder of Fairmont, WV); a sister, Linda Wallace Shapiro, Miami, FL; and precious grandchildren: Camille, Ella, Irish Rose, Killian, Stone, and Arabella. Numerous other extended family members and friends also survive.
