Susan Michelle Cox

Susan Michelle Cox, 48 of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully early Friday morning, September 19, 2014 at her home. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm EDT Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. The family will receive friends before the service. Susan was born March 29, 1966 in Waynesboro, VA. She loved cooking for her family, camping with her husband, hunting, Georgia football, being outdoors with her family and taking care of her grandkids. She is survived by her husband Mark Cox; her children, William Ashley Smallwood (Kimberly), Whitney Nicole Cox, Mark Coleman Cox (Michaella Manly) and Melanie Wanda Jean Moore (Nickolas Brown), all of Phenix City, AL; mother, Barbara Fineran of Phenix City, AL; siblings, William L. Smallwood (JoAnn) of Columbus, GA and Kimberly Finnegan of Tampa, FL; 8 grandchildren; in-laws, Gordon Cox (Ann) and Jacquelyn Cox; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
