Thomas R. Mccraine

Tech SGT(Ret) Thomas R. McCraine, 82, of Eufaula, AL passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his home.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm EST Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gerald Caryl-Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12-1 EST prior to the service on Tuesday at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Mr. McCraine was born January 31, 1934 in Henry County, AL to the late George W. McCraine and Willie Bessie Bryan McCraine. He proudly served and retired from the US Air Force. After his military service he worked for the City of Austin, TX before retiring there also. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Geneva McCraine, a brother, Charles McCraine and sister, Ella McCraine. 

He is survived by his children, Gayle Nelms and Thomas R. McCraine, Jr.; siblings, Kathryn Summerlin and Ivey, John McCraine and Diane, Doug McCraine, Eddie McCraine and Debbie, Sue Bucklew and John, Sarah Allen and Kenneth and Lynn McCraine and Toni; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members and many caring friends.
