Timothy Joseph Quint Sr., 53, of Columbus, GA passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family in Columbus, GA. A memorial service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Monday, August 26, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Kenneth Wilcox officiating. The interment will conclude at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, August 26, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Tim was born on April 14, 1966 in Waukegan, IL to the late Richard Quint and Patricia Maass Quint. He enlisted in the United States Army as an 11 Bravo, Infantryman, and proudly served his country for four years, earning the rank of SP4. Tim was a highly skilled butcher. He held positions at Publix, Rainbow Foods, and Winn Dixie for over 18 years. Tim spent his life surrounding himself with those he loved most, and his companionship was cherished deeply by his family and friends. Tim was the baby of six siblings and will be greatly missed but even missed more so by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Andi.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Andrea “Andi” Quint; sons Christopher Andrew Quint (Nicole) and Timothy Joseph Quint Jr. of Columbus, GA; sisters Margaret “Peggy” Szczesniak (Stephen) of Conesus, NY, Barbara Gill (Howard) of Prattville, AL, and Donna Doucette of Salem, WI; Brothers Richard Quint (Karen) of Hartland, WI, and James Quint of Waukegan, IL.
