Tiny May Richards

Tiny May Hardy Richards, 72, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 4, 2018 in the comfort of her home.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon EST on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Pastor Ricky Ward officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Richards was born December 1, 1945 in Coffee County, AL to the late Charlie Hardy and Bessie Barbree Hardy.  She had been a member of local Rescue Squad, enjoyed quilting, and had a passion for being involved with church activities, and Bible school.  She was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist Church.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nobel Arthur Richards, a brother, and a sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Boone and husband Bobby, and Melissa Gavin and husband Rusty, one son, Jimmy Richards and wife Cindy, three sisters, Lisa Hilyer and husband Bubba, Lorraine White and husband Ray, and Effie Hardgrove and husband Claude, one brother, Willie Hardy and wife Sybil, (5) grandchildren,  Andy Boone (Rebecca), Amanda Finney (Johnny), Kevin Bourgeois, Nick Richards, and  Kyle Richards, (2) great grandchildren Alicia Finney, and baby Finney, a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and many caring friends
