Tom White

Tom White, 72 of Salem, AL passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm EST, on Monday, August 1, 2016, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Katrina Paxson officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 4 until 5 EST at the funeral home.

Mr. White was born in Phenix City, June 15, 1944 to the late Henry Thomas White and Mildred Harrelson White. He worked for Georgia Power for over 35 years before retiring. “Biggin” loved outdoors and everything that kept him out there. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Jerry Anna.

He is survived by his loving wife , Sue White: sons, Tom White and Danette of Cusseta, AL and CB Palmer and  Misty of Waverly Hall, GA: siblings, Gail, Janet and Johnathon; grandchildren, Samantha, Caine, Blade, Hailee and Trey; extended family members and many caring friends.
