Torsak Pakarat, 55, of Smiths Station, AL passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, August 29, 2019 in the comfort of his home while surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Saturday September 7, 2019 at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Smiths Station with Rev. Skip Speed officiating. The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the church. A private interment will take place at a nearer future date.
Torsak was born December 27, 1963 in Banchin, Thailand to Bumpin Suthiboon and the late Yoothasart Pakarat. He was the owner / operator of Thai Thai Cuisine in Phenix City. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, cooking, and fellowship, but his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and family. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Torsak was a man of great character whom will be missed greatly, but never forgotten. His memories will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his mother, Bumpen “Penny” Stoner and his step-father, Dennis Stoner, and his loving and devoted wife, Ratana Pakarat, and a host of friends, patrons, and church family.
