Travis Jamell Kent

On September 7, 1999, Travis Jamell Kent was born to Paul Euston Kent, Sr. and Yulonda Hall in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Travis confessed Christ at a young age and was baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit on the thirteenth day of September 2009. He was one of seven children and was blessed with siblings, Paul, Shaniece, Sean, Michael, Jacquelin and Jocelin. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and yes, loved money! He was a go-getter and never backed down from a challenge. One of his favorite sayings to his mother was, “Ma, that don’t even make since does it?” And she’d laugh and say, “No, not really.” In his leisure, he enjoyed football, basketball, boxing, wrestling and soccer.
Travis was scheduled to join the United States Army as a 92A after his December 23rd appointment with his recruiter. God saw fit for him to serve in his Kingdom instead. He was a natural leader and will be missed; we will continue to honor him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tommy Lee Hall and Brenda Sue Hall and cousin, Benjamin Walker, Jr.

(Chelsee) Kent of Hobbs City, NM, Jacquelin R. Kent of Atlanta, GA and Jocelin S. Kent of Columbus, GA; paternal grandparents, Herman Jones and Marilee R. Jones; one uncle, Darell J. Hall of Montgomery, AL; five aunts, Pamela L. Briggs of Cleveland, OH, Artenze L. Hall of Pooler, GA, Cassandra D. Hall of Montgomery, AL, Alana (Allen) Hall-Baker of Phenix City, AL, and Vanessa Jones of Hartford, CT; his Godmother, Tamara A.
