Vicky Lynn Foster

Vicky Lynn Foster, 58, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday evening, August 2, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

Vicky was born July 23, 1960 in Alexandria, VA to Nina Jeanette Noe Foster and the late Berna Gene Foster.  She had served as a Dental Assistant at Fort Benning, GA.  For many years, she has been committed as a caregiver to her family, always making sure their needs were met.  She loved to swim, visit the beach, writing poetry, reading, working crossword puzzles, listening to Gospel music and watching Spiritual T V programs.  She loved animals, especially her cats, supported different foundations for many different needs, she was a giver and loved church; she was member of First Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.

She is survived by her mother, Nina Jeanette Noe Foster of Phenix City, AL, one sister, Debra Foster Giles and husband Leonard of Phenix City, AL, twin nephews, Jacob Albert Giles and Joshua Foster Giles, brothers-in-law, Donald Giles and Robert Giles, and sister-in-law, Sharon Boruta and husband Kenneth.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held 10:00 am EST at First Baptist Church in Columbus, GA on Thursday August 9, 2018 with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating.  The family will receive friends at the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Columbus or the Franklin Graham Samaritan's Purse Ministry America, in memory of Vicky.
