Walter E. Floyd

Mr. Walter E. Floyd, 74, of Columbus, GA died at St. Francis Hospital Saturday, July 27, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Blakely, GA.

Mr. Floyd was born July 31, 1944 in Blakely, GA son of the late James Floyd and Claire White Floyd.  He worked at Piedmont Columbus Hospital for 34 years in the Dietary Department serving in various roles. He was a simple man who enjoyed life and helping others.

Survivors include his brother, James Floyd (Susan) of Cataula, GA; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
