Wana “Sue” Sprouse

Wana “Sue” Sprouse, 76, of Columbus, GA, passed away in the comfort of her home Friday, May 29, 2015. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 beginning at 2:00 p.m. EST, at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907. The Reverend Lewis Brown and the Reverend Udell Addison will be officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, June 1, 2015, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Vance- Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. Wana Sue Sprouse was born May 30, 1939 in Juniper, GA, daughter of the late William Frank Bullard and Josephine Turner Bullard. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Edward Sprouse; sisters, Myra Troiano and Alice Wright, as well as her brothers; William H. Bullard, Franklin Eugene Bullard and J.D. Bullard. Sue was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Smiths Station, AL. She enjoyed landscaping, interior decorating and trying new recipes. Sue is survived by her loving husband of over 57 years, Jack Edward Sprouse; son, Luke Edward Sprouse of Columbus, GA; sisters, Debbie Knipe (Dean) of Phenix City, AL; and Cleo “Anna” Harris of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Susan and Bryant Walker and Christian Nicole Sprouse; great grandchildren; Camden, Everett and Jameson Walker. Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be forever missed.
