Wanda Faye Reid

Wanda Faye Reid was 56, born September 21,1962 in Columbus Georgia. She passed away January 31, 2019 at Piedmont Hospital. Wanda was proceeded in death by her husband, Nathan Reid. She is survived by her children David Thomas (Heather), Steven Thomas, Brittany Campbell (Aaron), Lance Campbell (Nicole) and her grandchildren Cierra, Madalyne, Alex, Ashton, and Gauge.

Wanda was an amazing mother and grandmother; she loved with all of her heart. She was a kind woman; she would care and shelter abandoned animals. Wanda never forgot a holiday, loved decorating and sending care packages to her children. She shined brightest when she made others feel at home.

Wanda worked for over 20 years in the healthcare industry, helping to care for the sick and elderly. Wanda made the best fried green tomatoes and was a movie trivia buff. She loved dancing and was a beautiful singer. Wanda loved camping and drinking Coronas on the beach. She was the best bargain shopper. She loved the Georgia Bulldogs.

She spent all of her life caring for other people. She was loved cared for by so many others; she will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City.  Her loving family will hold a private memorial service at later date in honor Mrs. Wanda Reid.
