Wayne Woodrow Bradley, 71, of Smiths Station, AL passed away peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA.
A celebration of life graveside service with Military Honors will be held 11:00 am EDT on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Grant Parker officiating. The family will receive friends for a short period before and after the graveside service on Thursday.
Mr. Bradley was born July 17, 1946 in Columbus, GA to the late Woodrow Wilson Bradley and Elva Hook Bradley. He was employed with Alabama Power with 38 years of loyal service. He served our country proudly and was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, woodworking, photography, and spending quality time with his grandsons. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby E. Bradley.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Kathryn “Kathy” Wellman Bradley of Smiths Station, AL, two daughters, Kristy Bradley of Pine Lake, GA, and Mindy Bradley Johnson and husband D J of Cataula, GA, one sister, Frances Parks and husband John of Deatsville, AL, and two grandsons, Brock Johnson and Jack Johnson, sister-in-law, Irma Bradley, much loved nieces and nephews, cherished cousins, extended family, pastor Rev. Grant Parker, church family, and many caring friends.
