William was born on April 7, 1935 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He proudly served in the United States Air Force where he retired after a long, successful career. William enjoyed fishing and sports, as well as building model airplanes and ships. He attended St. Anne Catholic Church.
William had quite a personality. He was outspoken when he needed to be, but he also had a funny side that would always result in a lot of laughter. He was kind and honorable, and everyone knew he was a dedicated family man. His wife Louise was the love of his life, and his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren were treasures in his heart. William has, without a doubt, left a beautiful legacy for each of them to follow.
William is preceded in death by his parents Mary Guralny and Nicholas Guralny. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years Louise Baranik, daughter Clarissa Baranik, son William M. Baranik, grandchildren Jessica Haynes Campbell (Ben), Jeffrey Fox, Jr., Nathan Baranik and Katrina Baranik, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
