William C. “Bill” Bennett

William C. “Bill” Bennett, 64 of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.

The family will have visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 pm EDT, on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Vance Memorial Chapel, in Phenix City.

Bill was born on December 20, 1950, in Columbus, GA, the son of Clyde and Essie Bennett. He spent his career in car sales and auto management.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his in-laws, Carl and Vivian Brooks.

He is survived by Lyn Bennett of Phenix City; daughter, Jennifer Wadkins, husband Ronnie of Salem, AL; grandson, Tyler Wadkins; brothers, J.R. Bennett, wife Laura of Boaz, AL and Rodney Bennett of Phenix City, AL; honorary brother, Scotty Scott, wife Sheryl of Phenix City; sister in-law, Cheryl Newman and Dan Steed of Columbus, GA; brother in-law, Jeffery Brooks of Columbus, GA; numerous nieces and nephews and many caring friends.
