William Harold Mcreynolds

William Harold McReynolds, 90, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015.

A memorial service will be held 11:00AM EDT Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Burial will follow at 12:30 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour before the service. A repast will be held at the Fletcher McAllister American Legion following the burial.

Mr. McReynolds was born August 4, 1925 in Bluefield, WV to the late Arnold Patton McReynolds and Allie Edna Shrader McReynolds. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Fletcher McAllister Post #135 American Legion. He was a member of Shield of Faith Church in Phenix City. “Mac” was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1876.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife Mae Arlene Heffentrager McReynolds; 2 sons, SSG Matthew James McReynolds of Hephzibah, GA and Andrew Jonathon McReynolds and wife Melanie Key McReynolds of Smith Station, AL; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Amber Golden, Deshon Marquise Brooks, Caleb Bryan Horton, Bryana Nicole Horton and Tatum Ann McReynolds; other family members and friends.
