Mr. Daughtry was born August 10, 1982 in Albany, GA son of Dora Louise Scheurer Daughtry and the late Willie Fred Daughtry, Sr. He was a professional painter by trade working for Creative Looks and A1 Painting. Willie Fred was known for his good humor, fashion sense and love of playing the guitar. He had a good heart, often “paying it forward” and performing random acts of kindness. His compassion for others, especially children and animals, was at the heart of who he was. His time in our lives was too short, but the impression he made in our lives will last forever.
Survivors include his mother, Dora Louise Scheurer Daughtry, Smiths Station, AL; three siblings, Krystina Daughtry McClain (Noel), Amanda Daughtry and Joshua Daughtry all of Smiths Station, AL; stepson, Mason Melvold, Smiths Station, AL; special family friend, Michelle Trimback, Smiths Station, AL; seven nieces and nephews, Lane, Tara, Gabe, Tatum, Tailor, Tayana, and Tucker; great niece and nephew, Adaline and Tayen; many uncles, aunts, and cousins who loved him as well as friends also survive.
