Wilson Vargas Ayala, 77, of Ft. Mitchell, AL, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at St. Francis in Columbus, GA.
The family will be traveling to Puerto Rico for services and burial.
Wilson was born on July 26, 1937, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, the son of Gervasio Vargas and Carmen Ayala. He was the family patriarch and is loved and will be missed.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his grandfather, Juan Varga and step father, Ramon Ayala.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ana Vargas; 4 children, Jose and April Rodriguez, Wilson and Charlene Vargas, Alberto and Brenda Vargas, and Virgen Renteria; 4 siblings, Monserrate Vargas, Nelson Ramos, David Ramos, and Frank Ramos; 11 grandchildren, Jorge Renteria and Rachelle, Sandra Renteria, Viviana Renteria, Yolanda Vargas, Victoria Vargas, Damaris Vargas, Dymaris Vargas, Diana Vargas, Jose Rodriguez, Hayli Rodriguez, and Felicia Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Ariana, Ja'Nya, Jorge Jr., Alivia, K'Nadia, KeMari, KeSandra, Kenyan, Christina, Cecilia, Joey, Kyomara, Antonio, Analia, Adriana, and unborn due in June, Viviana K.; extended family and many caring friends.
