Wilton Theodore Windham

Wilton Theodore Windham, 83, of Columbus, GA passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home in Alexander City, AL.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm EST, on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, with Andy Kelly officiating.

Mr. Windham was born August 9, 1933 in Midland City, AL son of the late Bryan Windham and Vera Wright Windham.  He ran his own construction business for many years.  Mr. Windham proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Mika Windham; daughters, Peggy Thacker of Phenix City, AL and Terry Lynn Eubanks and husband Howard of Seale, AL; sons, William Thacker of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard Thacker and wife Sandie of Cusseta, GA and Glenn Thacker and wife Dyann of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Freddie Ethridge of Dothan, AL, Rebecca Phillips and husband Eldon of Ozark, AL and Karen Bell of Midland City, AL; brothers, Lorry Windham and wife Quida of Warner Robins, GA and Wyman Windham of Midland City, AL; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family members and many caring friends.
