Yvonne R. Finan

Yvonne R. Finan, 32, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Funeral services will be held in Virginia through Tibbs Funeral Home, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.

Yvonne was born on August 1, 1989 in Kampala, Uganda to Justus and Violet Rwerinyange. She proudly served our country as a Specialist in the United States Army, being deployed overseas twice, one being a combat deployment. Her second deployment was a volunteer deployment and while others complained about it, she never did.

Yvonne was a dedicated wife, who loved her husband with all her heart. A dedicated daughter, who wanted to always take care of her mother. A twin sister who always wanted her sister close by so that she could protect her. She loved the Lord, and always wanted to put Jesus first in everything, and loved her family very much. She will always be our daughter, our sister, our Baby Bear and now our Angel.

Yvonne is survived by her husband of 5 years Edward Finan III; mother Violet Rwerinyange; sister Yvette Nyangoma; brothers Peter Byamukama, Andrew Kamanzi, and James Mugume. Her in-laws included her mother-in-law Christine Finan, brother-in-law Thomas Finan and Jennifer Finan. Yvonne is preceded in death by her father Justus Rwerinyange.
