Adelheid “Heidi” Christine Newsome

Adelheid Christine “Heidi” Newsome, 64, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Newsome was born August 26, 1956 in, Vilseck, Germany daughter of the late Horst Joachim Pusch and Christa Elisabeth Sobotta Pusch. Heidi enjoyed needle work, crocheting, painting and restoring old furniture, reading and most important she was a homemaker, who loved caring for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 24 years John Christopher Newsome of Phenix City, AL; four daughters; Christine Miller and husband Jeff Miller of Greensville, NC, Patricia Toole and husband Bruce Toole of Columbus, GA, Daniela Carmichael and boyfriend Johnathan Lee of Panama, Aschley Carmichael and boyfriend Joseph of Phenix City, AL; three sisters Roswitha Dorner, Christa Rocha, Daniela Garner, one brother Andreas Pusch Sobotta, nine grandchildren; Ava Barribau, Laura Ramskil, Joshua Durham, Kayla Owens, Jeremy Yapias, Maria Yapias, Ariel Carmichael, Jayden James Carmichael and Hunter Miller; one great grandchild, Brayden Sales.
Heidi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be forever missed.
