Belvie Jean Conrad

Belvie Jean Doss Conrad, 85, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully Saturday evening at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA with her family by her side.

Ms. Conrad was born June 10, 1934 in St. Charles, VA, daughter of the late James Harold Doss, Sr. and Maxie A. Mullins Doss.  She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who was very devoted to her family.  She enjoyed making jewelry, visiting the farmer’s market, baking and cooking, and sharing time and memories with all her family.  She was a Christian and a Baptist by faith.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Dombrowski, Lea Bryant, and Daphne Lambden and two brothers, Charles Doss, and James Doss, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Bjorkman and husband John of Harvard, IL, and son, Robert Conrad and wife Tonya of Phenix City, AL, one sisters, Patricia Willis of Longview, brother, Harold Doss of Homestead, FL; (10) grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren, a host of extended family members, and many caring friends.

A celebration of life memorial service is to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm EST at Ms. Conrad’s home in Phenix City by her loving family.  She will always be loved, and her memories always cherished, and she will never be forgotten.
