My sincere condolences to the Gallups family and friends. May our Jehovah GOD grant you strength and comfort during this most challenging time. Remember GOD is a GOD of all comfort. “GOD is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress.” Psalm 46:2. Also know we have the real hope of being reunited with our love ones.
John 5:28, 29.

I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one and I hope the following suggestions help the family members and those who loved Bettie (Bain) Gallups to lessen their grief.
• Talk about your feelings to “a true companion” who will listen patiently and sympathetically.
• If you have feelings of guilt thinking that some neglect on your part contributed to your loved one’s death, realize, though, that no matter how much we love another person, we cannot prevent “time and unforeseen occurrence from befalling those we love. (Ecclesiastes 9:11)
More than anything else, a relationship with God can help you to cope with the death of someone you love. Isaiah 33:24 promises the time when an end to sickness will become a reality. God will put an end to pain, suffering and even DEATH. God promises at Isaiah 25:8 that death will be swallowed up forever.

I have known Bettie for many both as a lead-nurse with Dr. Harold Jarrell and as fellow church member at Ladonia Bapt. Church for years. Bettie was a sweet and caring friend. And I am grateful to God for the confidence she brought to both areas of work and worship.
I pray God to give peace and comfort to Bettie’s family and friends at her presence with Jesus Who gave His life for her and all who believe and trust Him. Margie Rigby and family

I want to offer my condolences to the Gallups family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose someone very precious, yet no one else can really know all that you feel except our Heavenly Father. He knows and feels your pain. Allow him to give the comfort you need at this time through prayer as he invites us to do at Philippians 4:6, 7 “…in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God;7 and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” He has promised that under his Kingdom rule he will remove sickness, old age, and death from his human family (Isaiah 33:24; Job 33:24, 25; 1 Corinthians 15:26).
