Carol Faye Forsyth Renfroe, 84, of Columbus, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Magnolia Manor West in Columbus, Georgia with her family by her side.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Renfroe will be held at 1:00 PM EST, on Tuesday May 9, 2023, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, located at 3738 U.S. Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama, with Bro. Mickey Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM EST at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Renfroe was born in Buena Vista, Georgia, the daughter of the late John Homer Forsyth and Lola Sorrels Forsyth. Ms. Renfroe was a stay at home mother and wife and later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she retired. Playing bingo was her favorite past time. She also enjoyed gardening and decorating her yard for the holidays. Ms. Renfroe enjoyed watching dirt track racing, especially when her family was racing. Above all, she enjoyed her family. She was always known to take care of all her children, grandchildren and their friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Renfroe was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter Sherry Phillips (Michael) of Fortson, GA; son Randy Renfroe, Jr. (Jana) of Seale, AL; grandchildren Blake Brookshire (Ashley) of Fortson, GA, Sydney Phillips (Austin) of Fortson, GA, Chance Renfroe (Chelsea) of Seale, AL and Cole Renfroe of Seale, AL and great grandchildren Rayleigh Brookshire, Ava Brookshire, Magnolia Renfroe, Brantley Williams and her anticipated great granddaughter Carter Rae Ezell.
