I am so very sorry to read of the passing of Mrs. Batcheldor. I knew her from our service together in the Daughters of the American Revolution, Coweta Town Chapter, Phenix City and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Russell County 2114, Phenix City. Mrs. Batcheldor was a grand lady in no small fashion. She was at home on her farm and as comfortable advocating in our local historical society and our genealogical societies. She had a heart as big as all outdoors and will be sorely missed. Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers are extended to her dear family and close friends.
