Michael Palmer left a message on July 2, 2021:
CSM Mock was my Division Sergeant Major when I was with the 7th Infantry Division (Light) at Fort Ord, California in 1989-90, including combat operations in Panama during Operation Just Cause. I am in contact with many I served with and randomly heard of his passing. So many of the men who led me in those early years of my career are now sadly gone. They do not make leaders like that anymore. SFC Michael Palmer, US Army Reserve (Retired).
