David Howard Gresham

David Howard Gresham, 64, of Phenix City, AL passed away late Wednesday evening, June 12, 2019 in the comfort of his home.

David was born March 18, 1955 in Phenix City, AL to the late Willie Gresham and Kathleen Holley Gresham Burdett.  David had worked in automobile sales for most of his life.  He enjoyed Auburn football, eating, his dogs, shopping, and fellowshipping with friends and family.  He loved attending church, and he was a member of Unity Baptist Fellowship Church in Phenix City.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancé, best friend, and companion, Janet Cady.

He is survived by his children, Pamela Blizzard, Catherine Gresham, David Jernigan Gresham and wife Ashley, and Marie Cady, all of Phenix City, AL, one sister, Patricia Gresham Threlkeld of Columbus, GA, two brothers, Robert Dees and wife Lynn of Smiths Station, AL, and James Gresham and wife of Salem, AL; (11) grandchildren, Leslie Blizzard, Courtney Blizzard, Gordon Blizzard, Amber Long, Emma Gresham, Brandon Gresham, Mackenzie Gresham, Jacob Gresham, Amanda, Shonda, and John; (8) great grandchildren, Darrius, Erin, Kyleigh, Halo, Maurice, DJ, Colby, and Emery Grace, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and many caring friends, and his pet dogs, Bit and Bruiser.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Unity Baptist Fellowship Church in Phenix City with Pastor Dewayne Dean officiating.  The family will receive friends after the memorial service on Tuesday at the home of his son, David at 555 Lee Road 450 Phenix City Al. 36870.
