I found this picture of me and Debbie in 5th grade at 4H contest. It brought back memories of our friendship: swimming at Spring Villa, Shocco Springs, GA's and Saturday night socials at Concord church. Although we did not see a lot of each other later in life, I always valued Debbie and her sweet family. My sincere sympathy. CONNIE COOPER

Debbie was a precious woman of God, who poured Jesus into the lives of so many. She was a great listener and loved on everyone she met. Her spirit will live on in countless numbers of friends and acquaintances and with whomever she came in contact. She has met her Savior and is finally healed and whole. We will miss you, my sweet friend. Love and peace to Rodney, Shane, and Katie and all the family.

I remember meeting Debbie in the summer of 1994 as I moved to Phenix City from Illinois. I came to work with Dr Ashcraft and Mrs. Debbie was the office manager. She was such a welcome and pure joy to work with everyday. As the years went by and the Army transferred me on it was good to have Facebook to stay connected at least. Then we we were able to met up several years later when she was in Washington state with the PBR and I am so glad I did because got to see my daughter and we talked so much and it was just like we never left off. My deepest condolence to Rodney and the kids and Billy and Mary.. My prayers are with you all.

Sending prayers and love to Rodney, Katie and the family. May the God of all comfort extend his mighty arms and support you all during this most difficult time. I remember meeting Debbie & Rodney on a flight to Albuquerque, NM. We chatted the entire flight and realized we were headed there for the same reason...a PBR bull riding event. Over the years Debbie & I spoke many times about that “chance” meeting on a plane...that we both agreed was ordained by God. I will never forget Debbie and her truly beautiful spirit and love for God, Rodney, her family and others. With love, in great sadness, Susan Hanrahan
