Debra Grizzle Lenoir, 65, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her home.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 noon, one hour before the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lenoir was born February 6, 1953 in Ft. Bragg, NC, daughter of the late Walter Grizzle, Sr. and Mary Owen Grizzle. She worked in the Real Estate industry for over 20 years. She was a member of the American Business Women of America (ABWA), the Daughters of the American Revolution and Ladonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Lenoir was a former President of the Board of Realtors, having served two consecutive terms. She loved going to the beach and Cottonmouths Hockey, but above all she loved her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Grizzle, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband George L. Lenoir, Jr. of Phenix City, AL; a son, Matthew Lenoir and wife, Melica of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Coraleigh Sowell and Hailee Sowell; extended family, as well as, many friends.

My sincere condolences to the family at this time of loss. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved loved one. Please draw comfort from the scriptural promises at Acts 24:15 and Rev 21:3, 4 knowing that God cannot lie (Isaiah 46:10, 11).

Debbie was such a warm, loving friend.В We shared many good times and I'm terribly saddened to hear of her passing.В She will be missed!!

Met Debra when I had to move from Orlando, Florida and she was wonderfulВ and patience and so helpful during my weekend trips find a new home and showed me home after home until we found just the right place.В And she helped me with getting settled and to learning about the community.В Then whenВ I started attending Ladonia Baptist there was this lovely lady again.В She was a beautiful lady and so grateful I had the chance to know her....

Debra was a member of Victory Sunday Class and has been missed.В We love her and her Family.

I remember Debra as a wonderfully kind Christian lady. She had a wonderful personality that was seen through a radiant smile. I count it a joy to have known her and serve as her Pastor for many years. My condolences and prayers for all the family.
