Diane Meta Duraso

Diane Meta Biddle Duraso, 63, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday evening, November 28, 2019 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, GA while surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm EST on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Mark Hudson officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm EST prior to the service at the funeral home in Phenix City. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Phenix City Shrine Club immediately following the service.

Diane was born October 4, 1956 in Prince George County, VA, daughter of the late Fred Biddle and Agnes Grundler.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family deeply.  She was a member of the Phenix City Shrinettes, and a member of the Daughters of the Nile.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, and baking, but her greatest joy and love was spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a Baptist by faith.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Biddle and Fred Biddle.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 20 years, Jesse Duraso, her children, Tammy Mejia (Arnoldo), Jimmy “Jody” Sizemore, Jr., Michael Sizemore (India), Kevin Duraso (Shannon), and Traci Davis (Chad); one sister, Debbie Shealy (Jim), a special aunt Big Carolyn, (18) grandchildren, Brittany Forrest (Jacob), Tiffany Harris, Tyler Sizemore, Maria Mejia, Breanna Sizemore, Tanner Sizemore, Kirsten Holbrook (Jonathon), Alexis Sizemore, Scarlett Sizemore, Mathew Thompson (Taylor), Brandy Thompson, Taylor Duraso, Coleman Duraso, Tyler Steele, Katie Mae Pittman, Bailey Davis, Drake Davis, and Dylan Davis, (6) great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
