Doris Carolyn Baughn Floyd, 77, of Phenix City, AL died at Canterbury Nursing Home, Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Ritchie Ashburn officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Floyd was born April 12, 1942 in North Carolina daughter of the late Jessie Baughn and Clara Hunter Baughn. She was a homemaker, enjoyed bowling and was an excellent cook. Mrs. Floyd found great joy in spending time with her family. She was the pillar of the family and will be missed greatly.

Mrs. Floyd was also preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Floyd and a son, Robert Floyd.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Floyd (Brenda), and a daughter, Teresa Kauffman (Michael) all of Phenix City, AL; brother, Hubert Baughn (Helen), N.C.; three dearly loved and adored grandchildren, Max, Ragan and Jared; nieces, nephews and other family members and close friends also survive.
