He was my doctor for over 45 years, delivered both of my boys and was always happy and helpful. I always enjoyed the beautiful paintings in his office done by his very talented wife. My deepest condolences to the family, especially Beth. He was a great man and excellent doctor.

The last of the true original Phenix City Cobb Hospital surgeons . Oh if those walls could talk what tales they would tell. A surgeon to be proud of who touched so many and so happy even I touched shoulders with you in the OR . Even death cannot take our memories. Go rest high.

RIP dear friend! Growing up in Troy I was a friend of the entire Beck family. Rod had a rare combination of intelligence and athleticism and was in addition, a genuine great, humble and unique individual who never looked down on anyone. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to family and friends.

Rodney, this is what I called him, was always a joy to be around. I remember ad a child going to his lake house & had so much fun. He had his own unique personality… which I loved. I will always the green blazer he wore to my sisters wedding. Only Rodney Baby, which is what my dad always called him, could wear that green jacket & be mister cool‼️ I know you are at peace now. My thoughts & prayers are with the family🙏🏻🙏🏻

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8. What a wonderful man he is! Beth my heart goes out to you and your family. May knowing that he is with the Lord be your constant consolation. Brenda Wilkes Rose
