Hugh Thomas “Tom” Huntley, 51, of Phenix City, AL passed away while at Piedmont Midtown, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

A Private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Tom was born October 8, 1971 in Ogdensburg, NY son of Aurelia Thomas Huntley and the late Hugh Thomas Huntley, Jr. He was a plumber by trade. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his dirt bike and time with his family. His absence has left a void in our hearts, but we will cherish his memories forever.

Mr. Huntley was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Thomas Huntley, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Dan Sparks and long-time companion of Mrs. Huntley, Glenn G. Livingston.

Survivors include his mother, Aurelia T. Huntley, Phenix City, AL; his sister, Tammy Huntley Sparks, Phenix City, AL; a niece, April Sparks Krause, FL and a nephew, Daniel Sparks, Jr, Phenix City, AL; several other family members and friends.

So sorry to hear. We have been knowing tommy for yrs, We nick named him Thumper because he would always thump his foot like thumper the rabbit. So everytime we would see him that was his name. Family is in my prayers
