































































































Iva Nell Hartzog, 89, of Phenix City, AL died at Columbus Hospice Tuesday, February 11, 2020 with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City with Rev. Alan Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hartzog was born January 11, 1931 in Troy, AL daughter of the late J. C. Boutwell and Robbie Hagan Boutwell. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hartzog was a member of United Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She also collected Depression Glass, a hobby she started when her in-laws gave her her first pieces. Mrs. Hartzog will be remembered as a lady who was devoted to her family and kind to everyone she met. She will be missed, but we know she is in Heaven with Jesus, her husband, Winfred Hartzog and son, Stephen Hartzog.
Mrs. Hartzog was also preceded in death by two siblings, Karen Brabble and Farrell Boutwell.
Survivors include her three children, Lynn Page (Steve), Ft. Mitchell, AL, Greg Hartzog (Deborah) Rincon, GA, Dawn Peluso (David), Forsyth, GA; three sisters, Bobbie Pierce, Pat Barbee and Diane Booker; six grandchildren, Kelli Hughes (Todd), Kyle Page (Jennifer), Tyler Hartzog (Afton), Suzanne Turner (Ben), Micah Hartzog and Ragan Peluso (Thomas); six great-grandchildren, Claire, Hart, Cason, Gracen, River and Brannen; several extended family and friends also survive.
