Jacqueline Marie Persinger

Jacqueline Marie Persinger, 73, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully Sunday morning, September 22, 2019 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Curtis Jamieson and Pastor Jammie Holloway officiating.  A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Phenix City.

Mrs. Persinger was born February 14, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late Thomas Vincent Favorito and Winifred Dorthea Tiller Favorito.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who loved her family deeply.  She was a member of the Heaven Saints Christian Motorcycle Club.  She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.  Her greatest joy was sharing quality time and special moments with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a Christian and attended Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Smiths Station.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant child, one sister, Helen Wojslaw, brother, Vincent Favorito, and a great grandson, Hayden Baker.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Michael “Mike” Steven Persinger, children, Michelle Coker and husband John, Brandy Burditt and husband Jason, and Danette Smith and husband Jason, three sisters, JoAnn Muraski, Julia Shorter, and Patricia Lombardo, (8) grandchildren, Blake Mitchell, Brooke Mitchell, Lauren Vaughn, Ashley Williams, Destin Smith, Abby Williams, Ryan Smith, and Natalie Burditt, (5) great grandchildren, Cooper Moore, Addison Baker, Greyson Baker, Anniston Baker, and McKenna Mosely, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
