My sincere condolences to the family at this time of loss. Please draw comfort from the scriptural promises at Acts 24:15 and Rev 21:3, 4 knowing that God cannot lie (Isaiah 46:10, 11).

I want to offer my condolences to the Corcoran family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Even Jesus, when on earth gave way to tears from the loss of a loved one (John 11:33,35,38). Ultimately Our Almighty Father of tender mercies knows your pain. He never purposed his human family to have health issues, grow old, and die, but to live in perfect health and a perfect life forever. It is still his purpose (Psalms 37:11, 29). He calls death an enemy and promised to remove sickness, old age, and death__ 1 Corinthians 15:26 “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing"; Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say: "I am sick"; Isaiah 35:5,6; Job 33:24,25 “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” Finally, He promised to undo the effect of death by bringing our love ones in the memorial tombs back to life__ Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” I hope these words give you all comfort.

Tomorrow our family will pay our respects to the most gentle and kind man we have had the pleasure of having in our lives. Jimbo, Gramps, or Love were some of the names he went by. This man married later in life and took on a wife with three children. My most cherished memory of Jimbo will be this. Whenever he would introduce myself, my brother, or my sister he always, and I repeat, always introduced us as his children. Step or my wife's children never was said. Rest in Our Lords sweet glory.В

I am so sorry for your loss, however, I have found comfort from the Scriptures that gives us hope for our deceased loved ones. Revelation 21:4 says; And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
