Janice “Jan” Passmore Goins, 73, of Phenix City, AL died at her home on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Private Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Bud Passmore officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (EST) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goins was born June 20, 1949, in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Lewis N. Passmore, Sr. and Jane Allen “Judy” Jackson Passmore. She had retired from Total Systems as a VP having started when the company began operations. Jan enjoyed beach trips with family, reading, sitting by the pool and playing Pokeno with her “girl group”. While all of this was enjoyable to her, nothing came before her grandchildren. They were her life after she retired, and she loved every minute of it.  We are filled with fond memories and will cherish them closely in our hearts.

Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis N. and Judy Passmore.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Goins, Phenix City, AL; two sons, Rob Maholick (Tammy) and Chris Goins (Emily); a brother, Lewis N. “Bud” Passmore, Jr. (Penny) and a sister, Julie Banks (Joe); the apples of her eye, Jake Maholick and Jenni Goins; several nieces, nephews and friends.
