Sweet Katherine was my brother's wife for 70 years. I was just a little girl of 10 years old when my big brother brought his wife home to Rhode Island to introduce her to his large family, and she captured our hearts! I never liked the title "sister-in-LAW. She was and forever will remain my Sister-in-LOVE, as well as my Sister-in-Christ, and I look forward to the great reunion when our Lord and Saviour brings us all together again for ETERNITY! What a glorious life awaits His children!

I remember Aunt Kathryn from family gatherings as a vibrant and warm-hearted person. My deepest sympathies to Uncle Danny, and my cousins Mark, Michael, Frank and Kathy.

My fondest memories of Auntie Katherine are from the few weeks I spent with her and Uncle Dan at their home when I was a young teen. Her house full of 'men' didn't quite know what to do with a girl in the house, but Auntie made me feel like I belonged to the pack. Her smile lit up a room, and she was one of the kindest souls I have ever known. She will be remembered and missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

My sister and I were just two kids when our big brother brought Kathryn to Mom's house in RHode Island...I was struck by her beauty, ready smile and that lush Southern accent!! I had never heard anything like it.....throughout these many years ,good times and bad I was always impressed by this lovely lady who joined our family, adding her own special and caring way. Always undertanding, never judging...she was a true lady and even though our human hearts grieve...we remember her unshakable faith and know she is at peace beyond our understanding...until we meet again, sister
