Thank you Tammy. The years they taught together have so many special memories. I often felt like I lived at the school because we always seemed to be there, but it was OK. It was home. I miss that so much. Thanks for your kind and special words. Mickey

Thank you Angie! Those days at Century were so very special - Mom running in the halls when we were not allowed to, FHA, football games on Friday night with the dance to follow - and so many more. The memories are priceless! Mickey

Thanks Kay! The days at Century were unbelievably some of the best. I remember seeing your sweet Mama's face every time I walked into the office. It seems like yesterday, and yet so many years have passed. We were so small, we were a family. We were together before the school day started until after the last game at night. God Bless Kay. Thank you Toni. You were able to get the last of their 40+ years of teaching. They retired after their days at Northview, but they were so excited to have been given the opportunity to teach at the "new" high school. Thanks so much for your kind words. Mickey

Thank you Ashlee. She loved y'all just as much as y'all loved her. She would go on for hours about things going on at school. Nothing made her happier just to hear, "Hey, Mrs. Shepler." She was special and I am so thankful she will live in the memories of so many. Mickey

Mrs. Shepler was my homeroom teacher at Pensacola High School in 1973-74 when I was in the 10th grade. I now live in Phenix City, and am surprised she lived so close.
I remember her sweet, calm, and friendly personality. I especially recall a personal favor she did for me during a time of violence at the school. I remember her kindness over 40 years later.
My sincerest sympathies and condolences for your loss.
