Mrs. Holliday was born April 07, 1927, in Bowden, GA, to the late Robert “Bob” Andrew Montgomery and Lou Ella Eason Montgomery. She was a founding member of Cottonton Baptist Church, where she was very active in several ministries. Mrs. Holliday also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in the Pittsview Community. She enjoyed growing flowers and often used them in arrangements in her home. We will remember her as a lady of great faith, who lived her Christian convictions daily. She often shared her values and convictions with others as a part of her lifestyle. Mrs. Holliday loved the Lord, her husband, and family with all her heart. She will be missed, but her strong convictions and positive influence will continue to impact future generations.
Mrs. Holliday was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years, George Sanford Holliday.
Survivors include her son, Robert Sanford Holliday (Peggy) and her grandson, Porter Holliday (Ashleigh), all of Vicksburg, MS, along with other family members and friends.
The family would like to especially thank Carissa Manning, Pam Williams, Mark Hyleman, Dr. Jason Berman and the rest of the team for the exceptional love and care given to Mrs. Holliday..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Columbus Hospice of Georgia and Alabama, 7020 Moon Rd., Columbus, GA, 39109 or www.columbushospice.com .
