














Megan Leigh Philips, 32, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Phenix City.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 18, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Matt Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm EST at the funeral home in Phenix City.
Megan was born July 2, 1987 in Columbus, GA to David Ronald Phillips and Genene Wynn Phillips. She had worked in retail sales in the Columbus, GA area. She was a graduate of Glenwood School in Smiths Station and a graduate of Columbus Tech in Columbus, GA. She enjoyed singing and was known for her beautiful voice, and she loved spending time at the beach. Her greatest joy was being a mother and spending time with her son Landon and her family. Megan was a lady full of spirit with a tender heart whom was loved by all. She was a Christian by faith. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Fred Wynn, paternal grandfather John Phillips, and an uncle, Wayne Phillips.
She is survived by her mother, Genene Wynn Phillips, her father, David Ronald Phillips, her son, Landon Phillips, maternal grandmother, Geraldine Wynn, paternal grandmother, Virginia Phillips, uncles, Charles Wynn (Tamyra), Lamar Wynn (Vicki), and Johnny Phillips, and a host of cousins, extended family, and numerous friends.
